The new and used Motoman UP500 feature a heavy payload of 500 kg and a long reach of 2,542 mm to provide a versatile approach to industrial applications.

The UP500 XRC features parallel-link construction for strength, rigidity, and stabilization of high moment/inertia loads. The UP500's heavy-duty bearings provide smooth arm rotation.

The patented multiple robot control allows the Motoman UP500 XRC robot to position large parts for processing by other robots. This "jigless" processing is the ultimate form of flexible automation. Up to four robots can be controlled simultaneously by the advanced XRC 2001 controller.

The UP500 is RIA R15.06 (1999) compliant, has full 6-axis capability providing high flexibility, is ideal for heavy part handling and jigless processing. It also has an IP67 wrist rating with a reliability of 52,000 hours MTBF.
